SPOT AS was selected by Teekay as the supplier of five custom-designed sampling stations for a production vessel – tailored to different media and developed in close collaboration with the process operators.

SPOT AS was selected by Teekay as the supplier of five sampling stations for a production vessel in the oil and gas industry. The scope of work included design, procurement, and fabrication, carried out in close collaboration with the process operators who would be using the systems in daily operations.

The stations were custom-built to match the specific media they would handle – different types of gas and liquid required unique configurations and functions. This tailored approach ensured high usability, operational reliability, and accuracy in sampling.

As part of the project, SPOT AS also designed and manufactured a mobile cleaning cart for the handling and flushing of crude oil, helping streamline maintenance and reduce operational risks.

All units were delivered using 316 stainless steel tubing, suitable for demanding offshore environments and high requirements for corrosion resistance.
